It took Warren's breath away, though he kept in stride, just to see Devin like that. To see the danger there, part of what had drawn him to him in the first place and yet the day to day of living with him had settled it under, somewhat.
And he didn't mind, really. He loved the daily waking up rituals, the cozy domesticity of making food together or curling up on the couch or running errands.
But times like this, Devin reminding everyone who and what he was, even if they couldn't put a name to it. He was glorious, and he was wonderful, and Warren appreciated every moment.
