He didn't know how Doc had done it, but whatever he'd done, Devin was glad to be off the hook. The baby wasn't his and that made things so much easier.

"We should go out." He'd made the announcement with a relieved, bright smile. Of course, he mostly knew the clubs he'd played and while they might have good music, he wanted to get lost in it, music and movement and he only knew of one place for that in this town.

Fergus had found it somehow, god knows how. In a basement, but exceptionally well decorated. Velvet and iron, it bordered on goth, but goth with a decidedly gay edge. Straights were welcome, but the likelihood of boys or girls hooking up there was far more likely than boys and girls.

Devin ran it by Warren, hoping it would be okay after all the recent...issues. Then he pulled out his nicest leather pants, not the beaten up every day ones, but the ones he performed in. Gold hoops in his ears, lots of gel. He even pulled out the eyeliner. His shirt was green, matching his eyes, silk and nearly sheer. Finally done primping, he glanced over at Warren.

"Bout ready?"

"Ooh. I like the sound of that." One hand slid back to his hip again, kneading slightly through the leather.

Devin brushed his lips over Warren's then stepped back from those too tempting fingers.

"I thought you might."

Warren smiled, then finally snagged his bike helmet, grinning. "Club. Dancing. Right."

Devin grinned at him brightly and took his hand, tugging him toward the door.

Warren laughed as he followed him out, blatantly admiring the view.

The bikes really were the only way to go to get to a club, in Devin's opinion. He let go of Warren just to settle on his and watch Warren get on the second, just as blatantly admiring.

Warren glanced at him, shook his head and laughed before pulling on his helmet.

"Lech."

But it was mostly muffled in the helmet.

Devin blew him a kiss before pulling on his helmet and taking off with a roar.

Warren laughed and followed him to the club, reveling in the wind rushing over his body, cooling him after he was already pretty heated.

Devin parked the bike, hopping off with another grin when they got there. Only then did the nervousness clutch at him a bit, worried about pulling Warren more into his world and not all of the insecurities quite put to rest yet.

Warren hopped off with a grin and a flourish of his long hair that tickled his shoulders as he pulled his helmet off. He was bouncing and eager to get out, have fun, and it wouldn't have occurred to him that Devin was pulling him into anything.

Devin smiled, pushing away the edge and held out his hand.

Warren took his hand, slipping his fingers through Devin's.

"Ready, hot stuff?"

"Always." Devin led them downstairs, past the bouncer with an easy smile and into the club. The music was loud and the place already crowded with the pretty and well dressed and Devin settled into an easy glide that was close to a prowl, moving through the crowd.

Warren followed, glancing around to see how crowded the dance floor was, what kind of place it was. It was better lit than most of the places he hung out, but not bad at all.

And if Devin hadn't told him he was pretty sure he could have guessed. The ratio of six guys to every two girls was kind of... something.

Devin headed for the bar and a couple of excellent imported beers Doc would have approved of.

"What do you think?" His lips were close to Warren's ear to be heard over the music without shouting.

Warren smiled his thanks.

"I think I've never been to a club just for the dancing," he replied, as close. "It's.. better lit than I'm used to."

And he did mean that. The atmosphere was totally different in ways that had nothing to do with sexuality or boys and girls.

"I like it."

"Better lit?" Devin chuckled, then ran his fingers along Warren's jaw and kissed him softly, but thoroughly.

"So do I."

Warren's breath flew away, hand to Devin's hip just to stay upright for a second. He kissed him back, but the weakness in his legs had more to do with joyous amazement than lust.

Devin broke the kiss, resting his forehead against Warren's with a soft smile at him.

"Wanna dance?" Nevermind that their beers were untouched.

"Sure..." It wasn't elegant, but it was about the best he could manage.

He was fairly sure his expression was more foolish grin than sexy smirk, and he damn well didn't care.

Devin set their beers back on the bar. They'd be there or not when they got back. He took Warren's hand again, leading him to the dancefloor and never taking his eyes off of him.

Warren followed, still a little breathless and focusing on the beat of the music and the warmth of Devin's hand in his. The shine of his shirt, the soft wave of hair that invited touching. Dance now, he reminded himself. Touch later.

There were definitely some envious glances, and one or two who looked as though they might try to cut in. It wasn't exactly clear whether they were aiming for Devin or Warren.

Devin was all for touching and dancing at the same time, pulling Warren in close, hands settling on his hips as he found the rhythm of the beat and started to move.

Warren had to figure it out. He'd never really been much for dancing, even with a girl, let alone a guy.

But, hell, he'd been with Devin for weeks now. Sleeping with him, making love to him, learning his movements and his habits. It was easier than he thought to move with him, settling into the rhythm of the music and the rhythm of his lover and some kind of very masculine, very strutting attitude.
