Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark

No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles brusied by a lady in black
And I held my toungue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back

If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangkok to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
Cause we'll hold each other soon
The blackest of rooms

If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark

ooc: Seriously? I meant to write them a fic to this AGES ago, then Kelci gave it to me for the [livejournal.com profile] lyric2lit challenge. So. Um. Not sure what fic will get written, but Devin said "Remember? That's the song that made me cry..." And then Methos says, "Um, no, it's our song. Me and Wes." And there is war in my head. 'Cause now Caleb wants it, too. But anyway. Devin gets dibs on posting. :)

Pogue points out that if Caleb follows him into the dark who'll be left to take care of Reid and Tyler? Mostly Reid. Although he appreciates the sentiment and is mush underneath the practical exterior.

Warren's just mush.

*wry* Thus why Devin got to post it.

Heh. Makes sense.

Though I can see, once one of them starts to go, the rest dropping off in short order. Hell, I can almost see it happening for the older generation too, at least what's left of them.

*nods* They're all so very interconnected. I'm trying to convince self to go to gym to feel better. It's not really working, but I'm going to try.

They really are. Their strength and their weakness.

*snugs* Go to gym. Do something exercise-like, get the endorphines and adrenaline and other chemicals I am no doubt misnaming and misspelling running. :)

Yeah, they are.

Meh. It's too late. I got up meaning to do Tae Bo, only to find that with our cold snap, when I thought I'd turned the heater back on, I, err, hadn't and that's why I was shivering under a mound of covers. Too cold to workout in here.So then I had to pack a bag, but now it's really too late so. Meh. Just. Meh. I've hit the "what does it matter?" point
